I absolutely love the article and may even link to it in one of my future blog posts. I believe it’s important that women see themselves for the person they really are, a beautiful loved one. Thank you.

    Hugs,
    Wezz

  2. Pat says:

Facebook fan of The OZ Material Girls. Happy Birthday! Love the fabrics.

  3. Anni Taylor says:

My last zucchini slice was a bit flat – so I’ll try Monique’s one!
(And yes, being a vegie I’ll omit the bacon!)

  4. nellbe says:

    Brilliant! Such a great idea!

  5. Gina says:

I have been using these Wine Wipes for a while (since my usual online store started promoting them http://www.enaturelle.com.au) so don’t need to sample them – but wanted to share my feedback… They are too small for the wine spills but are great for the red wine grin. They do taste salty but only for a minute and your teeth feel really clean after only a quick wipe. I reckon EVERYONE who drinks red wine should have these handy! I am using them for Kris Kringle at work as well (can’t think of anything else more perfect really!) and my red wine drinking family are all getting one in their Xmas present! I agree – whoever thought of these: ingenious!

Thank you all for your comments. The winner is Natasha. You will hear from us soon, Natasha.

  7. Ms FeetUp says:

Gina, I agree. The wipes are brilliant. They aren’t designed to wipe up spills, are they? They do clean the teeth beautifully, though. I think they are very clever.

  8. A newly enrolled fan of the OZ MAterial Girls, love the fabric for the bag!

  18. Nicole says:

I’ve got a very colour coordinated office. All white furniture, black accessories and a splash of red. I’m just setting up my husband’s office and we were discussing colour last night. He’s got all dark wooden furniture with light walls and curtains. I was thinking of adding a splash of blue, more of a masculine blue rather than a pale blue. I’m off to check out the kikki.K site for some inspiration. Thanks!

  19. Mom says:

I’ve really enjoyed reading your site, and right I’m trying to lose some weight too. I’m 50 years old and trying to lose 50 pounds by playing Just Dance for Wii. Its only the second day, but progress has definitely been made!

  20. Ms FeetUp says:

Hi Mom. Welcome to Cherry Mag. I wish you all the luck in the world for your quest. Drop in again and let us know how you are going with it. We will support and encourage you all the way.

  21. OK, I didn’t do too well on this front. Should have read this one earlier, eh!?

  22. Monique says:

YUM, will definitely have to try this one!

  23. Well said Nicole.

    We are comfort junkies.

Yep, being addicted to comfort can be somewhat problematic, if not catastrophic, for the wanna-be, modern-day success story. The truth is, if you’re not experiencing and dealing with pain, discomfort and fear on at least a semi-regular basis, you’re probably not learning, growing, changing, adapting and exploring your potential as you should be. If you’re all about personal growth, maximising your ability and positive change, then avoid the tough (uncomfortable, inconvenient, painful) stuff at your peril.

Life can be an amazing and incredible ride. It can also be a messy, unfair and uncomfortable place to be. It’s our classroom. It’s where we learn and grow – when we choose to pedal the bike. As I’ve said before, pain is one of our greatest teachers but we need to be willing students.

We don’t learn, grow, adapt and improve by gravitating towards all things safe, comfortable, familiar and convenient. No, we actually begin to develop and change for the better when we get off the couch, roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. Some of us have been masters of avoidance for too long.
